KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in comprehensive training to understand the agency’s mission, laws, and operational procedures.
  • Manage a caseload of 20-30 families, including foster children and cases requiring protective services, with duties encompassing home visits and assessments.
  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive testimony in court for assigned cases.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and documentation in line with state regulations.
  • Utilize various software programs and office equipment to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Coordinate services and make timely referrals to support the needs of individuals and families.
  • Collaborate closely with professionals across disciplines to ensure optimal care and treatment for clients.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Participate in additional training as required.
  • Serve as a resource for information seekers.
  • Support colleagues in addressing client needs.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

SUPERVISION & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Receive ongoing supervision and guidance on daily tasks.
  • Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to various weather conditions.
  • Handle tasks that involve stress, noise, and potential disruptions with emotional stability and focus.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Capability to perform job duties that may require sitting, standing, moving, and light lifting.
  • Must maintain concentration and manage stress effectively.

QAULIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related fields such as Sociology, Psychology, or Criminal Justice with relevant social service experience.
  • Strong understanding of case management principles, social issues, and resources.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Proficient in computer and technical tools required for the job.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
